The Company is currently developing a High Temperature (225 Deg. C) capable System On Chip (SOC) ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) device for distributed control systems for aerospace applications under SBIR programs. The SOC is a scalable, reconfigurable device that integrates all of the functions required for interfacing with and managing most types of aerospace control sensors and actuators and communicating with a host microprocessor. The device can be used to build Smart Nodes, Data Concentrators in a distributed system or embedded in a centralized engine controller. The company’s SOC ASIC solution has the potential of becoming the key building block for the development of control and PHDM solutions in the aerospace and energy markets.
The SOC device will be available in 4Q’12. For prototyping purposes a Smart Node module built with industrial grade components will also be available in 3Q12.
The affordability and flexibility of the SOC makes it suitable for markets such as energy exploration, wind energy turbines or any applications where long term reliable performance in a High Temperature environment is required
